Initial 12 Month Contract
Salary: Scale 6 - £26,154 per annum to £27,901 per annum

The Wrekin Housing Group comprises of a number of not-for-profit organisations who have joined together to offer a complementary range of services. We are made up of The Wrekin Housing Trust, Choices Housing Association, Reviive, Shropshire Housing Alliance, FUSE and The Furniture Scheme. As a group we support a range of customers by providing affordable housing, care and support services, training and work experience opportunities, financial advice, mediation, emergency accommodation, access to affordable furniture, tenancy training and help with setting up social value businesses. This is an excellent opportunity to test yourself against the demands of a diverse and challenging role within the Wrekin Housing Trust Housing teams.
The successful candidate will need to contribute to the management of the life cycle of tenancies within a wide geographical area across all Wrekin Housing Trust general needs housing stock. In doing so, you will provide a comprehensive mobile housing management service that will include maximising the Group’s income, allocation of properties, tenancy management and working with other partner agencies to build sustainable communities.
In completing these tasks you will demonstrate a strong focus on creating sustainable tenancies, excellent customer service and always replicate the Trust’s visions and values. (For more information on the role, please see the Job Description.)
What you will need:
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to adapt and be flexible to meet the challenges of the role. The ability to prioritise and organise your work is essential along with the use of technology that supports the delivery of a full housing service in our tenants’ homes.
The successful applicant will need to hold a full UK driving license and have the use of a vehicle for business purposes. (For more information on the list of requirements, please see the Person Specification.)
